Man, I remember back when I was a kid that spring break was such a thrilling time... So, this post is not so much about my fond memories of childhood but more about how my wonderful children (that I love soo much) will suck the sanity from me in just a matter of day's, as spring break is just on the horizon. I have been involved with technology for over 20years now. Now I may not be able to type 100wpm but I can be pretty silly at it. So silly in fact that I trust my fingers (or in this case, my thumbs) so much that I do no always check my txt's before sending them. Well to make a long story short spellcheck is makin me sound like an idiot. But to be honest I like "ducking" better then "fucking". On the keyboard atleast.

We all fall prey to advertising at one point or another. I did, I took a car to AAMCO believing that they had a good reputation and did quality work. For once in my life I failed to do research or ask around about AAMCO. And because of this I fell victim to a company that does sub par work and after spending almost $5,000.00 to get a transmission fixed, only to find out that they did not use new parts, rebuilt and used parts is what they used and not only that but they failed to secure a cooling hose to the transmission and placed a kink in the cooling hose that they did not secure. And to top it off they did not secure all the fluid lines, did not put all the lug nuts back on and the ones they did put on were only finger tight. I'm not sure what they did to my engine but it is now having to be replaced at another shop. Been trying to deal with AAMCO thru their consumer affairs deptartment but that is also a joke. Do yourself a huge favor and find another shop to do your transmission work. If I would have done the research I would have found all the other reports about how bad the work they do is. It is such a shame to get ripped off by a company that should be top of the line... My bad, but don't let it become yours... Good luck and good hunter!
